Ariana Grande Pays Tribute To Mac Miller During Heavenly Fortnite Concert — Watch

Ariana Grande regarded her late ex Mac Miller during her Fortnite show — and fans are enthusiastic.

Ariana Grande honored her late ex Mac Miller during her virtual Fortnite show on Friday, Aug. 6. Following Travis Scott‘s “Cosmic Concert” on the stage last year, Fortnite tapped the “Express gratitude toward U, Next” vocalist, 28, for her own energized show inside the computer game — and the artist regarded her late ex in a heavenly manner.

During her set, Ariana played out her hit tunes “7 Rings,” “Positions,” “R.E.M.,” and “Be Alright.” Toward the end, the artist played out “The Way,” her 2013 joint effort with Mac. During that exhibition specifically, Ariana’s symbol slipped a flight of stairs to paradise. Her fans encountered every one of the feels as the visual similitude as the late rapper sung his section behind the scenes.

Ariana and the late rapper started dating in 2016 in the wake of teaming up on certain tunes together, including “My Way” and her “Into You” remix. The two split in May 2018. Ariana affirmed the separation on Instagram at that point and called Mac her “closest companion” close by a photograph of the two. “This is probably the dearest companion in the entire world and most loved individuals on earth,” she composed. “I regard and love him unendingly and am appreciative to have him in my life in any structure, consistently paying little mind to how our relationship changes for sure the universe holds for every one of us!”

“Unqualified love isn’t egotistical,” she proceeded. “It is needing the awesome that individual regardless of whether right now, it’s not you.” Mac, who had been open about his set of experiences with chronic drug use, kicked the bucket in September 2018 from a unintentional excess at 26 years old. In a meeting with Vogue in July 2019, Ariana pondered his passing. “It’s quite all-burning-through,” she said of the pain. “In no way, shape or form was what we had great, yet, similar to, fuck. He was the best individual ever, and he didn’t merit the evil presences he had.” She added, “I was the paste for so long, and I wound up becoming . . . less and less tacky. The pieces just began to glide away.”
