Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul rejoined at the Style Trust Arabia Prize Honors in Qatar on Wednesday, Oct. 26 — and modeled for the cutest pictures to celebrate it! In photographs got by the Everyday Mail that should be visible here, Janet, 56, and Paula, 60, looked dazzling in show-halting outfits. The more youthful sister of the late Michael Jackson wore a fitted overcoat dress by English planner Alexander McQueen that included a wide belt to flaunt her hourglass figure. She matched the look with dark boots and wore a custom fitted button-out pullover under.
In the mean time, the “Straight Up” hitmaker wore a fitted fuchsia outfit with sparkling beading all through. The dress included a darling neck area and an off-the-shoulder plan with a striking organza bloom sitting on her right shoulder. Both pop stars wore their hair in updos.
As fans know, Janet and the previous American Icon judge go way back to the 1980s when Paula arranged for Janet’s 1986 collection, Control. Paula was behind a few of the star’s music recordings, for example, “How Have You Helped Me Recently” and “Control”. Paul recalled her time working with Janet on the collection in a 2014 meeting with Rolling Stone and said it was an extraordinary time for the two of them. “I’m extremely appreciative, on the grounds that this was actually the enormous beginning to my vocation,” she spouted. “At the point when I was acquainted with Janet, I was told by A&M Records that Control would have been a significant collection for her, and when I began hearing demos, I was extremely eager to work with her. Paula bounced in front of an audience and shared a genuine discourse about the “sovereign who really needs no presentation” in front of giving her the honor and recalled how she gave her the “amazing line of work” and an “chance” to work with her when she was a rising star.
The reverence is common, as Janet took to Instagram on April 12, 2021 to wish Paula a blissful birthday by sharing a legacy photograph of them. “Sending luv to u today @paulaabdul,” she composed with a kissing emoticon. How sweet!
