The ‘Have a throw down good time’ rapper applauded back at a fan asking what melody she came for Cardi B on in a tweet after her new collection spilled.
Doja Cat terminated back after a fan blamed her for dissing Cardi B on a spilled melody on her impending collection Red 2. After melodies from the new record viewed as their way online in front of the delivery, Doja, 28, told fans to not stoke the fire for a meat that isn’t really occurring. In one of the spilled tracks, it seems as though she’s expression Cardi, 31, yet she later explained that she was really yelling out an alternate popstar.
One fan tweeted a reaction to Doja and inquired, “Which one did you Whack [sic] Cardi B on?” The rapper snapped back at the fan with a reaction letting them know that it was not their business. “Not even one of them,” she composed. “Get a f**kin life.” In an alternate post on X, Doja uncovered that the line really is a reference to Carly Rae Jepsen. “Sniffing on some Carly Rae,” she wrote. Regardless of whether you haven’t heard the melody, you can perceive how it’s not difficult to mishear the verse.
Red 2 is set to drop on Friday, April 5. While it shouldn’t have come out right on time, Doja let her fans in on that she wasn’t excessively worried about the break. “No its most certainly wrecked cuz I needed to put it out myself yet theres nothing I can do about it!! that is exactly how its will be yet basically I can simply continue to be inventive and anticipate the wonderful things I have coming up,” she wrote.
While Doja might not have attacked Cardi, she hasn’t been modest about concealing people on a portion of her past melodies. On her melody “Wet Vagina” from 2023’s Scarlett, she made a dig against the Kardashian family, despite the fact that she didn’t name anybody specifically. “Explain to me why old shorty walkin’ like she got a stick in her butt, and beautiful face plastic, it’s givin’ Kardashian,” she raps on the track.
