Katherine Langford (conceived in 1996) is an Australian performing artist. Her part as Hannah Baker in Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why is her first significant acting part. Before the show, she had just showed up in the short film Daughter, which appeared at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She tried out for the part in 13 Reasons Why over Skype.
