Matt Martin and Sydney Esiason are locked in! The 25-year-old, who is the little girl of WFAN radio host and previous quarterback, Boomer Esiason, took to Instagram to share a video of her sweetheart’s sweet proposition on March 18. It would seem that Matt astonished Sydney while she was strolling her canine, and she was totally found napping when she pivoted and saw him on one knee. “Trilled him so hard about destroying an unexpected gathering the previous evening and after that today he tricked me totally,” she composed. “Jax your folks are getting hitched! I can hardly wait to go through perpetually with you angel! I cherish you.”
Matt and Sydney initially began dating in 2013 in the wake of meeting on Twitter. At the time, Matt was playing for the New York Islanders, and Sydney conceded that she was scared to acquaint him with her dad — an extremely, beyond words New York Rangers fan. “My mother invited him with open arms, obviously. She’s the sweetest individual never,” Sydney clarified at the time. “My father strolls into the kitchen with a Brad Richards Rangers pullover on acting like this is the thing that he wears each day, similar to it was absolutely typical, and just stated, ‘Hello Matt, how’s it going?’ and shook his hand. It was really extraordinary in light of the fact that it broke the ice!” Don’t stress, however — Sydney affirmed on Twitter that Matt got her dad’s consent to propose!
Presently, Matt plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Sydney moved to Canada to be with him. She already worked for Sports Illustrated’s SI Wire, and held occupations at NHL.com and the New York Jets. She moved on from Boston College in 2014.
