Paul McCartney Marches In NYC for John Lennon — ‘My Best Friend Was Shot Not Far From Here’

Paul McCartney walked close by a huge number of understudies dissenting for the finish of weapon savagery at the March For Our Lives. Amid the exhibit, he talked about his ‘closest companion’ John Lennon’s passing.

On account of the valiant survivors of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, a huge number of individuals have united the world over to reveal to American administrators that #EnoughIsEnough. Shockingly, huge numbers of these individuals have disastrous stories to tell about how friends and family were slaughtered from being shot, and Paul McCartney is among one of those storytellers.

“One of my closest companions was executed in weapon viciousness ideal around here so it’s imperative to me,” the 75-year-old performer told CNN amid the March For Our Lives in New York City, alluding to the site where previous bandmate John Lennon was shot and murdered 37 years back. “I don’t know [if we can end firearm violence]” he included. “In any case, this is the thing that we can do, so I’m here to do it.”

In Dec. 1980, Lennon was returning home from a chronicle studio with his significant other Yoko Ono when shooter Mark David Chapman let go five rounds into his back, executing him in the entrance of The Dakota Building. Almost four decades later, understudies are being executed in their classrooms since legislators still can’t seem to organize stricter firearm laws and stand firm against weapon viciousness.

McCartney isn’t the main VIP who partook in one of the shows over the world on March 24. Stars like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, and more rushed to the country’s legislative center to loan their voices to the reason. Miley and Ariana both performed in Washington D.C. with the previous playing out her 2009 hit, “The Climb” and the last giving an enthusiastic interpretation of her track, “Be Alright.”
