Ariana Grande joined Thundercat — a dear companion of her late ex, Mac Miller — to perform ‘Them Changes’ at the Adult Swim Festival!
Ariana Grande, 27, gave fans a wonderful astonishment when she bounced before the visitor mic during Thundercat‘s set at the Adult Swim Festival that was livestreamed on Nov. 14! Her appearance wasn’t reported already, and fans continued to go crazy as Ariana and Thundercat did a two part harmony execution to the last’s hit, “Them Changes,” in the midst of the board for Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Meatwad vibed out of sight).
Ariana and Thundercat twinned with panther feline ears for the presentation, and even modeled for a selfie behind the stage! “Love you too Ari,” Thundercat composed over the photograph, which was in light of Ariana tweeting a video of their presentation and stating, “thank u splendid triplet for having me love u consistently @thundercat.”
Thundercat played the bass all through the exhibition, and it was suggestive of the time the skilled artist played a similar instrument for Mac Miller‘s presentation of “What’s The Use?” during his NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert that occurred only a month prior to the rapper’s demise in Sept. 2018. Thundercat was dear companions with Ariana’s ex, who had passed on at just 26 years of age from an evident overdose.
“It seems like Ariana and I are everlastingly associated through Mac [Miller], and this is essential for the mending cycle,” Thundercat said in an assertion for their presentation at the Adult Swim Festival, per Vulture. After Mac’s passing, Thundercat likewise considered their Tiny Desk Concert execution in an Aug. 2019 tweet: “Well, that @nprmusic minuscule work area was as exceptional as you would might suspect it might have been. I LITERALLY flew into dc while I was in a visit myself in Europe to do that with him. We performed, and I jumped directly back on a plane thereafter… ..”
This isn’t Ariana’s first time performing “Them Changes.” She originally covered Thundercat’s 2015 single (which is found on his 2017 collection Drunk) for an exhibition at BBCRadio’s Live Lounge in Sept. 2018, only two days before Mac passed on. Ariana had dated “Oneself Care” hip-bounce craftsman between Aug. 2016 to May of 2018.
