Hilarie Burton Reveals Moira Kelly ‘Encouraged’ Her To Leave ‘One Tree Hill’:She ‘Saved My Life’

In another scene of her ‘One Tree Hill’ web recording, an enthusiastic Hilarie Burton expressed gratitude toward previous co-star Moira Kelly for empowering her to leave the series.

Hilarie Burton uncovered that her previous One Tree Hill co-star Moira Kelly encouraged her to leave the 2003 high schooler series, adding that the choice “saved my life.” Moira, 53, who depicted Karen Roe, mother of Lucas Scott (played by Chad Michael Murray), showed up on the most recent web recording scene of Drama Queens, the OTH webcast facilitated by alums Hilarie, Sophia Bush, and Bethany Joy Lenz on October 24.
