Julia Roberts responded to the ‘unexpected passing’ of her ex, Matthew Perry, and considered her visitor appearance on ‘Companions’ in another meeting.
Julia Roberts, 56, ended her quiet on ex Matthew Perry‘s passing in another meeting with Entertainment Tonight. The Oscar champ, who momentarily dated Matthew for a very long time in 1995 after she visitor featured on Companions, said it’s “tragic” that Matthew kicked the bucket so suddenly.
“The unexpected passing of anyone so youthful is shocking,” Julia said in the meeting, distributed December 4. “That’s what I believe, you know, it simply helps us all value what we have and to continue onward in a positive manner overall quite well,” she added.
Julia likewise considered her experience showing up on Companions as a previous youth colleague of Matthew’s personality, Chandler Bing. “Every single great idea and sentiments,” she shared. “They were all so inviting to me as a sort of an oddball character and it was a truly good time.”
Before his demise, Matthew expounded on his relationship with Julia in his 2022 journal, Companions, Darlings and the Enormous Horrible Thing. He said they had a “three-month romance” where they sent each other letters by means of fax. “I was eager to such an extent that a few evenings I would wind up out at some party offering a coquettish trade to an appealing lady and cut the discussion off so I could race home and check whether another fax had shown up,” Matthew composed.
Following three months of dating, Matthew chose to end things with the Beautiful Lady star. “Dating Julia Roberts had been a lot for me,” he wrote in his journal. “I had been continually sure that she planned to say a final farewell to me. How could she not? I was sufficiently not; I would never be sufficient; I was broken, twisted, loathsome. In this way, rather than confronting the unavoidable distress of losing her, I said a final farewell to the lovely and splendid Julia Roberts.”
Matthew passed on at 54 years old on October 28. Since his passing, such countless stars have shared accolades for the late entertainer, including his previous Companions co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc.
