Weeks after Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina‘s hit “What Ifs” hit No. 1 on the Billboard nation graphs, the combine hit the stage together at the ACM Awards for an execution of the track on April 15. The rising nation stars instructed the phase as they belted out the tune, singing to each other and flaunting unbelievable science as they finished their set with their appearances just inches away. Try not to get it wound, however — Kane and Lauren are both in genuine connections. In any case, they do have a history that helped set the quiet with each other amid the huge execution!
A long time before they both became wildly successful, Lauren and Kane really went to a similar center school together! The two were in a similar chorale class in seventh grade, so they’ve been singing together since they were simply adolescents. “He disclosed to me he didn’t sing,” Lauren reviewed not long ago. “I think he said he just sang in the shower.” After one year together, Lauren and Kane went ahead to go to isolate schools, yet he saw her on TV when she contended on American Idol in 2011. At that point, when he went to record “What Ifs” in 2016, he requested that Lauren venture in and sing vocals with him.
“The melody was the ideal path for us to feature what we can do,” Lauren spouted about the two part harmony prior this year. “I cherish Kane and it was a characteristic fit.” The melody was selected for Vocal Event of the Year at the ACMs, yet lost to Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban for “The Fighter.” Meanwhile, Lauren brought home the respect of New Female Vocalist of the Year, while Kane was up for New Male Vocalist of the Year, in spite of the fact that Brett Young was named the champ.
