Luann de Lesseps solely told The Magazine City she was ‘astonished’ that one of her five cast individuals was approached to do the show.
Luann de Lesseps had no clue about that Kristen Taekman would join her and four of their previous Genuine Housewives of New York City co-stars for the new time of The Genuine Housewives: Extreme Young ladies Outing. As a matter of fact, Luann solely told The Magazine City in front of the show’s December 14 debut that Tinsley Mortimer was in the blend to initially show up on the cast.
“I was not amazed that it’s myself, Dorinda [Medley], Ramona [Singer], and Sonja [Morgan],” Luann said. “I was shocked it was Kristen Taekman, on the grounds that I hadn’t pondered Kristen in some time. She lives in L.A. presently. Yet, Tinsley Mortimer couldn’t make it.”
“And afterward Kelly [Bensimon] — I’ve been anticipating having her covered for a really long time,” Luann added. “I’ve been having her on the show, putting her name out there and trusting she would return — and she did!”
Luann, Dorinda, Ramona, Sonja, Kelly, and Kristen recorded RHUGT: RHONY Heritage over the late spring in St. Barts. A few RHONY alums passed up the excursion — including Tinsley, who has been carrying on with a day to day existence out of the spotlight since leaving the Bravo series in 2020. She as of late got hitched to her life partner, Robert Bovard, in Palm Ocean side, Florida.
This is the principal time of RHUGT to include cast individuals from a similar show — which Luann said was a tremendous reward when the women were recording together.
“It looks regular since we’re normally companions,” she made sense of. “It’s difficult to counterfeit companionships and you see that on different shows. I would agree that that our cast is actually naturally companions and we have a set of experiences. So I believe that truly shows and makes it significantly more fascinating and extreme.”
While Luann and the other RHONY OGs have been supplanted by another cast, the “Cash Can’t Purchase You Class” artist is as yet glad for every one of the legendary minutes they gave across 13 seasons.
“We had an extraordinary sudden spike in demand for the show. The Inheritance some portion of it didn’t end up actually working. I was excited to go on a one-week trip and invest that energy with the young ladies,” Luann said. “I’ve continued on toward Crappie Lake and doing my Men’s club shows. I’m occupied with different activities. I just did The Veiled Vocalist. I’ve been moving into different tasks and living it up.
“In any case, I really do feel that RHONY OG’s need to go wherever on the planet,” Luann added, taking note of that the it would be a good time for the ladies to make a trip to various objections, as they truly do on Underneath Deck. “I believe there’s a yearly OG Housewife trip in us.”
The initial three episodes of RHUGT: RHONY Heritage debut Thursday, December fourteenth on Peacock. The excess episodes will debut week by week on Thursdays.
