‘The Goldbergs’ Preview: Joey McIntyre Steps In To Help Barry Create The ‘Next Great Boy Band’

Newcomers Joey McIntyre visitor stars on the all-new episode of ‘The Goldbergs.’ In this EXCLUSIVE review, Joey takes on a totally different job with regards to a teen pop band.

Barry has an arrangement, and it’s a major one. “We will be in the following extraordinary teen pop band,” Barry reports to his group in this EXCLUSIVE see of the March 16 episode of The Goldbergs. Barry acquaints his companions with Jean Calabasas, their new supervisor and “teeny-bopper group advisor.” Jean, played by Joey McIntyre, takes one gander at the young men and goes, “It’s more regrettable than I suspected.”

Barry accepts he has the ideal name for his teeny-bopper group: Men4Boyz. Barry was motivated by Boyz II Men. He flipped the name and multiplied it. He believes he’s a virtuoso.

Andy, Matt, and Naked Rob? Not really. Exposed Rob tells Barry, “That peruses like people for young men.” Barry isn’t withdrawing. “We’re a smidgen more established yet young. Two times as great,” Barry proceeds.

Andy takes over from here and asks how Jean Calabasas helps them. “I truly don’t have a solution for ya. Perhaps gesturing and grinning,” Jean says. Barry has a very surprising perspective on what Jean’s occupation is. Barry thinks Jean will be the one getting them pop, composing their tunes, and doing the movement. Jean is giving that multitude of things a hard pass. Barry says that Jean is a “nonconformist who can’t be subdued.”

The summary for the March 16 episode – named “The Downtown Boys” – peruses: “Barry and his companions attempt to recover their childhood by shaping a teeny-bopper group, yet they rapidly learn they aren’t kids any longer. In the mean time, Adam has the keys to Erica’s midtown loft yet understands he’s not equipped to deal with city life.”

Joey is no more bizarre to the teen pop band life. He rose to distinction as an individual from New Kids on the Block, a teen pop band that was super famous during the ’80s and ’90s. The NKOTB folks are as yet performing together today!

The Goldbergs airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC. Watch episodes on request and on Hulu the day following their debuts.
