Oprah 2020? That is the thing that Twitter thinks after Oprah Winfrey gave a motivating discourse at the Golden Globes. Read their tweets here!
Is it safe to say that you were enlivened tuning in to Oprah Winfrey‘s discourse at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards? You weren’t the only one. Basically everybody at home was moved by Oprah’s acknowledgment discourse for the esteemed Cecile B. DeMille grant, in which she energetically called for equity in Hollywood and the equivalent, and reasonable treatment of ladies all over the place. She reviewed the recollections of social equality pioneers like Recy Taylor and Rosa Parks, and encouraged every one of us to look for a superior future after their penances. It was an absolute presidential discourse, and that turned out poorly. Some on Twitter are calling for Oprah to really keep running for president in 2020!
Oprah’s discourse inspired an overwhelming applause from the gathering of people at the Beverly Hilton, and tears from a significant number of the VIPs in the crowd. It was out and out excellent. “I need every one of the young ladies watching to know another day is not too far off,” Oprah told the gathering of people while tolerating her honor. “Also, when that new day at long last first lights, it will be a direct result of a considerable measure of sublime ladies, a significant number of whom are appropriate here in this room today around evening time, and some entirely remarkable men, contending energetically to ensure they are the pioneers to take us to the time where no one needs to state ‘me as well’ once more.”
Astonishing! Oprah proceeded with her discourse by abandoning us with these motivating words: “This year, we turned into the story. Yet, it’s not only a story influencing media outlets, it’s one that rises above any culture, or work environment.” Hear, Hear! Read Oprah’s full discourse HERE and see the tweets supporting her administration beneath. Note that Oprah has never demonstrated that she would keep running for president, yet hopefully she comes around to the thought!
As I sit here in tears…I have never ever seen such a speech. @Oprah, my friend. Please run for President. This world needs more of THAT. WOW.
