Down home music symbol Dolly Parton, 75, flagged her appreciation for Lil Nas X, on Sept. 29, sharing the amount she adored the rapper’s new front of her hit “Jolene.” The Tennessee local took to her Instagram page to spout about the exhibition and sent the “Industry Baby” artist some adoration.
“I was so invigorated when somebody let me know that Lil Nas X had done my tune ‘Jolene,'” composed Dolly in her post. “I needed to discover it and pay attention to it promptly… and it’s incredibly acceptable.
