Her plot to hurt Jacob has made Kerissa somebody fans love to loathe. In any case, even the entertainer who plays her concedes that this time the hated spouse may have gone excessively far.

The most recent scene of Greenleaf closes on a cliffhanger and sees [SPOILER ALERT] the family face the way that they may lose their home.

The will, she guarantees, demonstrates that his father, Bishop James Greenleaf (Keith David), submitted murder to falsely get their rich house. It’s a plot that is ready to backfire and Kim says that – out of everything that Kerissa has done as of late – it’s the one thing she feels repentant about.

“That is something that she laments,” Kim, 52, tells TheMagazineCity EXCLUSIVELY. “On the off chance that you take a gander at it, [the house] was a heritage for her kids too and, paying little heed to what’s happening among Jacob and her (since connections have high points and low points), that is her family still.

“Once in a while hurt individuals hurt individuals and I feel like that is kinda where Kerissa is this season. She’s carrying on. She’s lashing out. In any case, did she expect that it could ever go this far? By no means.”

Kerissa and Jacob’s good and bad times have been defaced by his regular philandering and his powerlessness to hold down work. For the initial three seasons Kerissa took him back more than once, however in Season 4, something changed. Most quite she took part in an extramarital entanglements, got chlamydia and offered it to Jacob. Those things, Kim says, Kerissa totally doesn’t lament.

“Does he lament laying down with the woman in the congregation? Does he lament undermining [Kerissa] before that?” she inquires. “There’s consistently a twofold norm.” Before recording begun on Season 4 of the show Kim says she asked the journalists, “When is Kerissa going to get hers? When is she going to accomplish something for herself, rather than persistently committing once again to her broken circumstance?”

In Season 4, she includes, “That is the point at which she stated, ‘I’m going to get mine, regardless.'” “And that is the point at which you saw her controlling to get the house, controlling with the will,” Kim says, “since now she’s contemplating herself. Before she was definitely not.”

With respect to the fans who light up Twitter each Tuesday late evening hammering Kerissa for her activities, Kim makes some admirable sentiments. “I generally state individuals get so diverted by Lamman Rucker’s attractive features that they never truly need to take a gander at what his character is [doing] on the show,” the New Jersey-conceived entertainer says. “I think ladies resemble, ‘Well, on the off chance that I was her, I would simply cherish him regardless.’ It’s false. In the event that Jacob’s character was appalling, you all would have kicked him to the control!”

As the hit arrangement attracts to a nearby, Kim thinks about what it has been similar to playing Kerissa for five seasons. “I’ve delighted in playing this solid, individual of color,” she says. “Normal hair. Earthy colored skin, paper sack or darker. She’s a legitimate rendition of a lady that I know. I have been raised by these ladies… I’m so glad to have had the option to carry her to the screen, since I feel like this lady has been underestimated in our American culture.”
