After fans applauded back at Jennifer asserting that Christina Aguilera wasn’t initially essential for Madonna and Britney’s 2003 presentation, she answered!
Jennifer Lopez, 53, demands there was no shade tossed to Christina Aguilera after a new meeting where she guaranteed that she was initially going to be part the famous 2003 MTV VMA execution where Madonna kissed Britney Spears and the “Dirrty” vocalist. “No shade by any stretch of the imagination… you obscure,” she remarked back on a Bulletin Instagram post enumerating the story. She then, at that point, added, “smdh” — signifying, “shake my damn head” and the hashtags, “#alwayswanttostartsomemess” and “#growup.”
The Bronx local at first offered the remark about being a piece of the presentation in a meeting recently as she advanced Compulsory Wedding with Josh Duhamel. When inquired as to whether the “talk” was valid that she was intended to really be in front of an audience with Britney and Madonna. “Indeed, that was valid… I love Madonna, I generally have,” she started. It turns out her shooting plan got toward the back. “I was shooting a film in Canada, and we had met — me, her and Britney — to do it at [Madonna’s] home. I just couldn’t get off the film,” she went on.
The film being referred to was 2005’s An Incomplete Existence with Robert Redford, which she recorded in Kamloops, English Columbia during her underlying commitment to Ben Affleck. At that point, the pair were both in B.C. dealing with films (Ben shot Check in Vancouver a similar summer). “They got Christina Aguilera, I think, to do it,” Jennifer then added — with the “think” part pushing fans over the edge.
The stunning second proceeded to become one of the most vital and discussed crossroads in both MTV and VMA history. At that point, Britney and ex Justin Timberlake had likewise headed out in a different direction — with a camera put straightforwardly on the N’Sync vocalist as he apparently glared at the dramatic kiss (which, prominently, likewise lead to Christina’s lip lock with Madonna having considerably less broadcast appointment).
