Kathleen Kane (conceived Kathleen Margaret Granahan on June 14, 1966 in Scranton, Pennsylvania) is an American legislator and legal counselor who went about as the 48th Attorney General of Pennsylvania from 2013 until the point when she surrendered in 2016. She was both the primary female and first Democrat at any point chose to the position. In August 2015, Kathleen was accused of lawful offense prevarication, and various wrongdoings that included authority persecution, deterrent, and related connivance charges. On August 15, 2016, she was indicted all charges and reported her acquiescence. She was condemned to 10– 23 months in jail.
