Kathy Griffin’s Beloved Mom Maggie Dies At Age 99: ‘I Am Gutted’

Kathy Griffin is grieving the loss of her mother Maggie. She passed on March 17 at 99 years old, leaving the comedienne ‘gutted’ in the wake of losing her ‘closest companion.’

Comedienne Kathy Griffin‘s fan base had come to know and love her mother Maggie through her little girl’s six-season Bravo unscripted TV drama. Her spunk and love of boxed wine was constantly a hit. Unfortunately, she died on March 17, and the 59-year-old entertaining woman utilized amusingness through awfulness when she declared Maggie’s demise on Twitter. Maggie was 99-years of age.

“My Mom, the unparalleled, Maggie Griffin, spent away today. I am gutted. My closest companion. I’m shaking. I won’t ever be readied. I’m so thankful you all found a good pace of her life. You knew her. You adored her. She knew it. Goodness, and OF COURSE she went on St Patrick’s Day,” Kathy tweeted. She incorporated a photograph of Maggie raising a glass of wine as the pair investigated Kathy’s limitlessness pool over a gully in the Hollywood Hills.

Fans came to know and love Maggie from Kathy’s Bravo reality arrangement My Life on the D-list. Her spunk and backtalk picked up her an after of her own special. Bravo superfan Chrissy Teigen tweeted, “Goodness Kathy. I am along these lines, so grieved. We love you.” Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson stated, “Sending huge amounts of adoration to you!” Better Things maker and star Pamela Adlon answered, “My sympathies, Maggie.” Actress Rosanna Arquette shared, “Gracious kathy I’m not really good or bad sorry I send you heaps of affection. also, may she rest in power.”

Maggie was conceived on June 10, 1920 in Chicago, IL. Notwithstanding Kathy, she had four other kids with spouse John Patrick Griffin, who died in 2007. Tragically, catastrophe had been a piece of the family as of late. Maggie’s little girl Joyce died on September 14, 2017 at age 65 after a fight with disease. Kathy had even shaved her head on the side of her sister. That equivalent year, Kathy’s sibling Gary passed on from lymphoma at the age 70.
