Papoose (conceived Shamele Mackie in Brooklyn, NY on March 5, 1978) is an American rapper and lyricist. He broke into the rap scene with his tune “In sequential order Slaughter” in 2005 with DJ Kayslay and afterward marked a $1.5 million manage Jive Records. His collection was retired and he cut ties with Jive, yet he could keep the cash. Papoose increased further acclaim when he was included on the “Touch It” remix by Busta Rhymes. In 2012, Papoose discharged “On Top Of My Game” including Mavado, the main single of his introduction collection The Nacirema Dream. The collection was discharged on March 26, 2013. Following the arrival of Kendrick Lamar‘s “Control,” where he calls himself “Ruler of New York,” Papoose reacted with a remix to “Control” and dissed Kendrick. They kept on tossing shots forward and backward through 2014. Papoose and his significant other Remy Ma joined the show Love and Hip Hop: New York in 2015 and have been a piece of the prominent show since.

Individual Life:

Papoose is of Liberian plummet. He has a little girl named Dejanae Mackie. In 2008, Papoose reported he would wed detained rapper Remy Ma while she was in prison, however the wedding was deferred after he endeavored to carry her a key into the correctional facility. They wedded the following day in May 2008, yet he was banished from going by her for a half year.
