Bio:
Sofia Boutella (conceived April 3, 1982 in Bab El Oued, Algiers, Algeria) is a French-Algerian artist, on-screen character, artist. She began her vocation as an artist and has been working with prestigious choreographer Blanca Li since age 17. Her breakout was in 2007 when she was in the Nike ad, which prompted more work with Madonna and Rhianna. She at that point got into acting, playing Eva in StreetDance 2 and co-featuring in Kingsman: The Secret Service. Sofia showed up as outsider warrior Jaylah in Star Trek Beyond. She will assume the title part in the up and coming film The Mummy.

Sofia is the little girl of jazz performer Safy Boutella. She cleared out Algeria at age 10 and moved to France, where she got cadenced acrobatic and joined the French national group when she was 18.
