A portion of the previous von Trapp kid entertainers rejoined to observe Julie Andrews, who played Maria von Trapp in the notable film, get a significant honor from the American Film Institute.
The stars of the 1965 Oscar-winning film The Sound of Music rejoined on June 9 for a unique event including Julie Andrews. The British entertainer, 86, got the 48th AFI Life Achievement Award from the American Film Institute at the Dolby Theater in L.A., and a few of her old buddies from the famous film rejoined to celebrate. Duane Chase, 71, Angela Cartwright, 69, Debbie Turner, 65, Nicholas Hammond, 72, and Kym Karath, 63, who played five of the seven Von Trapp youngsters in The Sound of Music, went to the occasion and postured for photographs together on honorary pathway. The previous kid entertainers generally paired in stylish high contrast outfits.
While the adult Von Trapp kids took photographs together, Julie postured for solo shots on the rug. The Bridgerton star looked totally perfect in a naval force blue outfit with transparent sleeves. Julie decorated her look with a couple of silver studs and a dark grip handbag that she hauled around for the evening. The British symbol had a major grin all over and looked so glad to be respected at the occasion.
